Black Ball Cap

I had such a lazy, yet surprisingly productive weekend that it only seemed appropriate to wear my new black ball cap today to somewhat try and continue that weekend vibe. Paired it with a ball-themed long sleeve tee to keep it casual, a blazer to add some structure, & my glitter ankle boots to keep it light...

Silver Lining

Since I basically did this week's Photo Friday on Monday, I decided to show you an outfit post instead. I woke up to the sun shining & knew there was no better way to take advantage of it then by wearing a mix of metallic & glitter. Especially with the newly coined 'mullet booties' (you know, 'business in the front, party in the back' kind of deal)....

These boots have been gathering dust in the back of my closet for months now, until I saw these instructions and was inspired to transform them...

Plain black ankle boots from H&M

3 shades of silver glitter, mixed

Sections for glitter application taped off & adhesive sprayed...

Photo Friday

It has been one hell of a week. My poor dog got hit by a car last Sunday morning, thankfully he seems to be fine & doing well. The hubster left me for a week to go down to South Carolina for work (he gets back today, hooray!), and it's consistently rained all week. Needless to say, I'm ready for the weekend....
