Don't feed me violins, just run with me through rows of speeding cars

K photobucket hates me, pictures will forever be a bit oddsized, oh well.
MOVING ON

I want to know: what are your guys' pet peeves? I'm asking because I'm coming into contact with a lot of mine as of late and I want to know if anyone else has them (or others). Mine include, but are soooo not limited to: close talkers, hypocrites, overly cheerful people, people who flick their fingernail with another fingernail, chewing with your mouth open, and keeping the volume at an uneven number.

So, what about all of you? Do you have regular irritabilities, like someone's odd scent or foul language or maybe odd ones, such as people who knock on the door less than three times?

A love that is so demanding, awake and unafraid

So if any of you have been reading for sometime now, you'd know I am completely obsessed with tattoos. I already know two that I'm going to get (both small) and two more spots where I'll get more though I'm not sure of those designs yet.
And finally, the kind I want. I want to get an atom on the inside of my right ankle (it would be similar to this but not the exact same) and NO, I'm not a science person. I want it because when it's done right it means everything is in balance.

(all off google)

Do any of you have tattoos? Cool piercings? Leave a link to the post or picture showing it, I'd love to see! If you don't have any but want one, share.

We'll march along with our blindfolds on and we'll ride the rails with our pistols drawn

Photobucket is scary and frustrating. When I first made this post (aka two seconds ago) the first two shots were different sizes. Now they're the same. Eeeeery shit man.

Also, I want to make a video. If you ever have, tell me: how? Do you just record yourself on your camera then upload that onto your computer then that onto blogger? Just wondering, folks.

They gave her one more day to say the words I couldn't say

Listening to the newest Billy Talent cd right now. Critics call it their best album yet and I like it, but I definitely think their last one was better. I'm actually leaving soon to go to a University Fair then coming home to do projects so thought I'd quickly post this beforehand.

I joined my school's newspaper club today (I'm a cool kid) and my first article will be on "the decline of school spirit." It's an opinion piece and I agree, not as many kids are into the whole "dress up" scene and I think it's because we're getting older so we want to be seen as mature adults but also because some of us consider ourselves too cool. What do you guys think?

This was the sweater I was talking about - the blanket one with bell sleeves. I tried capturing the sleeves but every shot looked so awkwardly posed.
Also, I've wanted a tattoo since I was in grade eight and it's changed a few times but one has remained the same; an atom on the inside of my right ankle. You know, the three ovals with dots where they all touch? It means everything is balanced and in perfect harmony. I want a half-sleeve tattoo soooo badly it's not even normal. I know what I would get if it was a bottom one but not a top one (because of the shoulder). Oh well, I have many years to think about this, right?
But I kind of want a piercing too now. Only problem, I'm allergic to everything that isn't real silver or gold (even the hypo allergenic stuff doesn't work!) so when I had my ears pierced a few years ago they kept getting infected and eventually I just let them close.

In addition, if you're like me and you have the hardest time finding jeans that fit right check out Gap! At about $80 a pop they're not exactly cheap but I got three pairs in the summer and haven't gotten out of them. They're perfection, especially their "curvy" line!

(f carriere sweater, aritzia dress, la senza bra, gap jeans)

Am I supposed to be happy when all I've ever wanted comes with a price? You said you would die for me.

Hey guys! Today started off at -3 degrees and "warmed up" to 9 so I think I might have to whip out the pimp coat pretty soon! I was going to wear it today and I looked in the mirror - it makes me look two feet wider (not in a "wow... exercise!" way, more in a "holy shit how big is your coat?!" way) but it's warm haha.

Also, grad photos are soon (aaagh) and I'll be asking my parents tonight but hopefully I'll be donating blood next Friday! I never used to because, you know... I need it too... but after a few things, I realized I'll be just fine if they take a vial or ten.

In addition, I got my school photos back today. Wow, I have changed so much in a year. Maybe I'll show you guys last year's photo and this year's. Let's just say: grade eleven, boy short hair and big glasses, evil smile. Grade twelve: long hair, no glasses, evil eyes. Hot, right?

And I know my pictures keep coming out different sizes and aren't that great anymore; I have to bus home half the time and it leaves ten minutes after the bell so I don't have anyone take them for me. I'm working on it, I swear!
As for the size issue... photobucket doesn't have a "predetermined" cropping size, it let's you do that, so I sort of guestimate each one. As you can see, I suck at it. But it's getting better!

The skirt is actually knee-length and has some great detailing on the back but my battery started dieing so I couldn't capture it (next time!).
Apparently, it was the weird cafeteria lady's birthday today because the awkward cafeteria lady said she wanted to steal my schoes and give them to her as a gift. I laughed, oddly, and walked away. It was very uncomfortable.

I was feeling the night grow old and you were looking so cold

Went shopping today with the mom, twas quite successful minus the shoes. I was unable to purchase any because of my clod-hoppin feet (and yes, I realize that doesn't make much sense but I'm tired so let it go).
Got this great one-shoulder shirt from F Carriere (along with blanket-esque sweaters with bell sleeves, shall show you later) and it fits perfectly. The only problem is the side without a sleeve tends to, erm... come down a bit aka completely. I shall find a solution.
Photobucket
I GOT PYJAMAS!! This may not be exciting for you but I have so few that I don't even sleep in any sometimes (meeeow!) but I got two sets! This one, which is shorts and a tank top, and a pink and silver pants+long sleeve set from La Senza. Also purchased some "unmentionables" there, teehee.
Photobucket
And we ended the day with pedi/mani. I got the pedicure as I hate getting manicures (I've only ever had one or two but the cuticle-pushing part bothers me so much) and look! She put a flower. How quaint. (ps- sorry for my carrot toes but jeez, aren't they in perfect descending order? Look at em bad boys!)

So I've been watching a lot of YouTube lately and have three favourites: Shane Dawson TV, The Original Tyler and Community Channel. I watched Shane's "Youtube got me fired" video and I actually felt sad. Screw you, Shmenny Shmegg.

Also, I mentioned this before: tumblr. twitter. vlogging? I'm actually thinking about expanding my blog into something else (I've even considered a "shop FHG" type of thing but I researched PayPal and don't like it. And I don't have a credit card) but cannot decide what to do. I don't want twitter, it's for stalkers. I don't want to add people to my facebook, that's for creepers. Tumblr seems cool but I imagine it would be the exact same thing as this? Just a different layout? Vlogging would be awesome but I tried once and I videotaped a six minute speal on my camera (I don't know how to edit, I was trying to do it all in one shot) and then tried uploading it and it wouldn't work. Do you need an actual video camera?

So give me your ideas! What would you like to see? I've even considered creating an all new blog under an anonymous name so I can talk about whatever in whatever language (aka curse words and dirty jokes) but if I can't even get this blog off the ground, how can I manage two? Don't ever be hesitant to ask questions or make suggestions, I'm all ears.

Quick sidenote: I would like to thank everyone for commenting on my previous post, it means a lot. I stick by what I said, even though today seems to suck moneybutt in that department. I thought more people would comment and it'd be a mini-revolution (stop laughing at me) but of those of you who did, they were epic comments. Fo sho.

That's all for tonight, ladies and gents. It's ten to eleven in the p of m and I have to get up early tomorrow to get a gym membership (?) and work. This post was more of a "I'm going to rant and update you on my life" type as opposed to something useful.. but hey, you got to see my cute piggly wigglies.

I don't want to look like you because you're TOO perfect

If you're one of those people who think that being told "being imperfect is perfect" is stupid then stop reading. Now. For those of you who are in the mood to do quite a bit of reading and answer my question in the end, continue.

Alright, so I came across this site: Love Your Flawz. It's all about a positive self-image but not in the "I'm going to wake up tomorrow morning and love myself" kind of way but more of a realizing we are all flawed, even those "perfect" Barbies and Kens, but coming to terms with it and knowing that it is ok to be flawed.
So I'm dedicating this post to that exact theory: imperfection is perfection. I know we're constantly being told that thinner is prettier or muscley guys are hotter but at the same time that you should love yourself the way you are and "real women have curves!" and the like. The real truth is, no one is perfect -not even close- and anyone who thinks they are is probably a douchebag anyways.

As teenagers, we all go through that "what are these red bumps on my face?!" stage. I'm slowly getting over mine but it sucks and it's not pretty but most of us get it and get through it. I hate when people always cover a portion of their face with their hand or a book or their hair because of "that thing" on their face. No, it's not the most attractive feature in a person but that's all it is - one feature. You can have the most gorgeous eyes or prettiest smile but you can't get past acne.
Those biceps, the six pack, the chest; guys with muscles are hot. I was so surprised when skinny guys I know have told me how insecure they are about their size because they're so small. Personally, I find superthin guys very hot (Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds, anyone?) and have even been repulsed by Superman's muscles. Just because a guy's arm is incapable of flexing or because his stomach is a bit concave is no reason for him to feel bad about himself. Jokes about not eating aren't at all funny when someone puts the time and effort into gorging themselves sick with food and doing situps and benchpresses only to show no results. Skinny guys are hot and shouldn't have to think any differently.
I'm not going to lie: I like my chest. It's small and that's why I like it because I can get away with wearing lowcut shirts without mounds of cleavage pouring out. However, many girls feel the complete opposite about their smaller chest sizes. If anyone who is comfortable with their cup size and thinks this is ludicrous, just think to yourself how many guys look at a girl's chest. Creepy, yes, but many people take the size of a girl's boobs into consideration. Many guys describe their perfect girl as "blonde, thin, big boobs." Where does that leave the flat chested half of the nation? Having a smaller chest is nothing to be ashamed about; it's merely genetics. Besides, look at yourself in the mirror - would having a very large chest paired with your body be a bit disproportionate? There are always ways around this, such as push ups bras, but we all come in every shape and size and it was for a reason.
Possibly woman's (and even man's) greatest insecurity is their size all around. We constantly hear fat jokes that we or others make, we get bombarded with ads saying we need to slim down or we'll die, that that celebrity lost ten pounds and looks better than ever or we need to get the newest diet pill because "our lives were holding us back with all that extra weight." You know what, media or friends or family or strangers making all those comments? SUCK IT. Way, way back in the medieval day weren't women considered beautiful the bigger they were? I'm talking over 200lbs, big butted beauties. Now, I'm not going around telling people to be over 200lbs in order to look nice, I'm trying to explain that the idea of "true beauty" changes with the time. It used to be the thicker the better, just a little while back it was ribcages and ana wings and now we're stuck in the middle of curves and hipbones. Why can't everyone be considered good looking, no matter what their size? One's circumference shouldn't be what makes them beautiful. The largest girl in your school could have the greatest eyes or that chubby girl who takes the same bus as you could have a splendid laugh but, hey.. why bother to get to know the fat girl, right?
And all of this goes for the men, as well - they're under constant criticism to be fit and not flabby. The Biggest Loser, You Are What You Eat, Eat Yourself Sexy; there are so many shows about making people thinner. Being one hundred, two hundred pounds overweight has been scientifically proven unhealthy for us but so has being underweight. Some people are naturally born very thin or big boned and we should celebrate the fact that we are blessed to be allowed to see all shapes of man.

So what am I asking of you, as stated at the beginning of the post? I want to know your flaws. If you wish to submit them under an anonymous name, understood. But please, if you have read this whole thing do the world this one great gesture and tell us: how are you flawed? You can say everything or one thing.

And I will not ask this of you without doing it myself. Everyone is flawed and mine include: feet three sizes too big, an ugly left ear and being forty pounds heavier than I'd like to be and ten sizes too big. My name is Stacy, I am size twelve, one hundred and seventy pounds with size eleven feet and this wart-mole mutation on my ear that exploded blood in grade two.

All I want to do with this blog is share my views on fashion, vent or tell you about my life and things I think about. Sometimes all I'm doing is giving a quick summary of my day and sometimes I'm trying to make you feel, make you think. That time is now. So, are you up for the challenge?
