DIY: shredded t-shirt
So basically, I've seen a few people with shredded tshirts and wanted one of my own. After finding a tutorial on childhood flames (located on blogroll) I decided to try it. I first used a pink tanktop as practice as it was too small for me anyhow.
After it going to well with the pink one, I grabbed a green tank that I would use as my real one. However, this shirt obviously hates me and decided to be insanely difficult to work with. It was near impossible not to make holes and it took an hour to do the whole length of the pink shirt and it also took an hour to do that little section on the green one.
But I am not a quitter! No - instead, I went to Zellers and bought a 3pack of Midtown men's tshirts (they're just like Hanes tshirts) and am using one of those instead. It is going great; I have a few holes but nothing too significant. I'm going to cover a large portion of the backside and, if all goes according to plan, I shall do another covering part side part front.
Progress has been made!

I'm hoping to be done by the end of the week (I have work, projects, and this is incredibly slowgoing!) but I don't know what to put under it. See, I'd like to wear it to school and our principal had made an announcement last week about how even though the temperature is getting warmer we are still a "business environnement." I'm wondering if a white bandeau would be ok or if I should just wear a tanktop under it? Also, I may have dislocated my left thumb doing this.
