Mountain Gorillas

In anthro class, we've just finished watching a film entitled "Gorillas in the Mist." It's a movie to show the life of Dian Fossey, the famous anthropologist who studied mountan gorillas in Africa. She led a fascinating life, forcing her way into the gorilla-studying world, flipping her world upside down and risking her life day after day until she was -sadly- assassinated.

The movie is extremely moving, bringing tears to your eyes every time one of her hairy friends is threatened. It was made in, I think, the 60s so the obvious "problems" are to be expected but it is truly captivating. If you haven't seen it, go to Blockbuster and grab a copy because it's two hours you won't regret.
