I'm on a boat

We listen to all sorts of music - rap, hip-hop, rock, country. If you listen closely, a lot of the popular music is meaningless garbage or, even worse, teaches us the complete opposite of what we should be doing.

"The Lonely Island" is a band made up of Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone and Andy Samberg. Probably most popular for their song "Jizz in my pants," their style is comedic hip-hop. They've had massive success on the internet and have been featured on Saturday Night Live. Their "it song" at the moment, entitled "I'm on a boat," goes like this:
I'm on a boat, I'm on a boat,
Everybody look at me 'cause i'm sailing on a boat
I'm on a boat, I'm on a boat, Take a good hard look at the motherf*****g boat

Take other well-known singers, such as Lady GaGa:
Let's have some fun, This beat is sick, I wanna take a ride on your disco stick
Don't think too much just bust that stick, I wanna take a ride on your disco stick

Have we become accustomed to horrid lyrics that it doesn't even affect us? There was an uproar about Britney Spears' newest single "When you seek Amy" as it refers to inappropriate acts between two girls. Don't be upset that your ten year old daughter is being told to ride his disco stick, ride a motherf*****g boat, to go down on that pole as he's "poppin' these bottles, touchin' these models," or to lick his lollipop.
Let's pervert our morals so much so that we not only don't realize the lyrics, but enjoy them. We sing them freely in the streets, dance to them at night, memorize them.

Now, are you goin' to back that thing up or should I push up on it?
