Goals - weight loss

In the past two years, I've put on some weight, though most of it stems from the past six months due to poor diet, lack of exercise, and my medication's weight gain side effect. I kept telling myself I'm going to start eating better, or I'll exercise next week, but my self-promises kept falling through.

However, I've really noticed a decline in my health; breathing heavier if I go up multiple flights of stairs, having to go up in sizes, etc. So, I've decided to put a stop to my procrastinating and get back into shape.

Today is March 21st. By July 21st, I'm going to lose 35lbs. That is a four month window. The task itself seems daunting - so I'm breaking it up into small goals as well. By April 21st, I'm going to lose 10lbs - one month. None of this "next week" or "I'll try to." This is definite. I will, I am, I can.

Family and friends are obvious support systems for this because, let's face it, losing a large amount of weight is difficult and frustrating, and I'm sure there'll be days when I want to quit. But I also wanted to talk about it here.

I want to talk about it here because I'm 100% sure I am not the only person on the internet who wants to lose weight and tone up. Furthermore, this is a safe, non-judgemental place where I can tell my weight loss story, people can share their's in the coment section, as well as tips and helpful hints in relation to fun exercises, recipes, etc.

From now on, this is going to be my fashion, food and weight loss blog.
