Valley of the shadow of death

So, the first month of university is over. Going home this weekend for Thanksgiving and then in another 2 weeks, we've got our first Reading Week. So excited to see everyone again, especially my boyfriend. First thing I plan on doing, however, is getting Starbucks. Tim Hortons is good, but I can't get a Venti Cinnamon Dolce Frappucino with a Cream Base there, now can I?

School work hit an all-time high these past few days. I had my anthro midterm yesterday (we've had 4 classes.. I had 3 pages of notes..) and think I failed, but.. I can't say "oh well," but it's in the past and I can only learn how that was made and do better in the future, right? So, though it wasn't good, it's a learning experience. Oh my goodness, I sound like a self-help pamphlet. Ugh.

When I go home this weekend, I'm also going to grab my running shoes because, uh, heard of "Freshman 15"? On my way there.. So, jogging is going to need to start.

I've been spending most of my time doing school work. In Sudbury, at least because where we are, if you don't have a car, getting anywhere is near impossible (unless you want to take a 2 hour bus ride that is really a 20 minute car ride). So no shopping, movies, etc. Again, can't wait to go home...
