Aagh I work at nine tomorrow morning so that mean I have to wake up in 8 hours, 20 minutes. Yeah. Awesome. I can't believe teenagers are actually supposed to have, what is it, 8 to 12 hours of sleep per night? Which teenager has that, unless it's a Friday or Saturday night? Such a lie, no one sleeps that much. No wonder we're all considered moody, it's because we're tired.
This is what I wore yesterday during the day: thrifted blazer and necklace, old navy vest, gap jeans and shoe town boat shoes.
And this is what I wore last night to the dance. I look like hell, I know, it was about 11:30 at night and I wanted sleep. The dress is from Fairweather (funny story, my best friend bought the same one in red from Sears. Go figure) and the shoes I wore with it (unseen) were black heels from Le Chateau that had a subtle plaid pattern in a silver colour.
This is one of the pairs of shoes I ordered from yoox.com two weeks ago. Be Nadia Grilli, they are so comfy. The bottom is slightly curved so they're a little difficult to walk in but I'm loving the double platform.
And these were the Stella McCartney heeled booties I ordered. Unfortunately, they're too small and a size 10 was yoox's biggest size so I'm going to see if my sister wants them and if not, I guess I have to sell them. It's ok though, I got them on sale so it's not like a fortune is missing. Thing is, there's no zipper or anything but those little elastics stretch; just not enough for my freakishly huge feet.
I got another pair of docker loafer things. I don't know the proper terminology and it's 11pm at night, I don't care hahaha. They're super comfy and they're actually mens so I was able to buy them in a size 9 (as the stickers prove, which have been removed since this photograph was taken) so it feels like I have little feet!
Also got these awesome sandals at Spring. They had them in all black too but I was just like, pssht, go big or go home! The elastics are actually quite a bit brighter in person - bit of a yellow/green highlighter colour. Love the fact that I've found nice flat shoes and an alternative to the horrid flip flop.
Lastly, what I wore today. Banana Republic striped dress and the Nadia Grilli heels. I like how the two blues don't match. And yes, I went bare legged at the end of February. Skills man, skills.
Sorry for the picture overload, this is just from two days haha. I actually changed out of this dress and into something else for dinner with the mom and sister but forget to photograph it before taking a shower (and finally straightening my hair) and was too lazy to put it back on after. Laziness controls my life, it really does haha. Oh university, you shall be interesting.
