I honour the "ding," sir

This is the first maxi-dress I've ever owned. It's a leopard print with this feather/leaf/line pattern throughout it as well. It's so incredibly comfortable and handy because you don't have the awkward short hemlines to worry about when sitting or bending over. All in all, a great buy.
These are my new sunglasses. I was debating about not getting them but for $5 I said, why not? I asked my friend if they were too big and she said no and the sales woman said yes! Oh well, I got them anyway.
I'm wondering though, why would you basically tell a customer not to buy something? It's not like she recommended a more expensive pair or anything either so I just don't understand her mindset.
